Millburn's CitizenAdvisory Committee on Affordable Housing held an informal session on the recently enacted legislation on December 19, 2024.

Reshaping Town Government

NJ lets communities use any one of a number of different forms of local government. Millburn's government structure is currently that of a township, a structure dating back to colonial days but revised at the end of the nineteenth century.

A commission is being proposed and will be voted on by the public this coming November. If approved, the commission will research the possibility of a new structure for Millburn's government. If they propose a new structure, that would be submitted for the public to vote on.
